Reading University's Roller Coaster Appreciation Society (RCAS)
RCAS is the UK's only university based Roller Coaster Appreciation Society.
Approximately five trips are held per term, to as many theme parks as possible, and other thrilling activities, such as Go Ape, indoor water parks, wall climbing, trips to London, etc.
Membership for the academic year is £10 for students, and £15 for non-students.
Members are guaranteed a space on every trip, and free transport on most trips. They can also enjoy such perks as having booking fees paid for them, and cheap entrance tickets whenever possible.
The society now holds an Annual RCAS Epic Europe Trip. This involves driving around Europe, visiting as many great theme parks as possible while experiencing new coasters, languages, and cuisine.
